Zhiji L6 is the world's first mass-produced "ultra fast charging solid-state battery"

On March 25, 2024, Zhiji Motors announced that the upcoming Zhiji L6 will be equipped with the industry's first mass-produced "ultra fast charging solid-state battery", leading new energy vehicles into the "solid-state battery era". Empowered by leading battery technology, the Zhiji L6 will take "breaking through 1000 kilometers of ultra long range", "quasi 900V ultra fast energy replenishment", and "super safety without heat spread and fire in the whole package" as new benchmarks to eliminate distance anxiety, energy replenishment anxiety, and battery safety concerns for users.

The ultra fast charging solid-state battery of Zhiji L6, which is about to be launched, adopts a patented nano scale solid electrolyte coated with ultra-high nickel material as the positive electrode, and a new generation of high specific energy composite silicon carbon material as the negative electrode. By using high-tech materials and processes, the energy density of batteries is significantly improved, empowering vehicles with ultra long endurance performance. The Zhiji L6, equipped with an ultra fast charging solid-state battery, can exceed a CLTC range of 1000 kilometers; One charge, able to travel directly from Beijing to Dalian; Easy round-trip between Shanghai and Hefei, allowing users to bid farewell to range anxiety.

This "super battery" is also the first mass-produced solid-state battery in the industry with ultra fast charging capability, allowing the Zhiji L6 not only to run far but also to replenish energy quickly. By adopting the self-developed "high ion conductivity, high-temperature resistant solid electrolyte" and the industry's first "dry method solid electrolyte layer integrated molding" technology, the overall internal resistance of the battery cell is significantly reduced, achieving ultra fast charging performance. High technology has also solved the problem of high expansion of silicon-based materials and ensured the stability, cycling performance, and safety performance of solid-state batteries.

More importantly, the Zhiji L6 "ultra fast charging solid-state battery" meets battery safety standards far exceeding national standards, achieving "no heat spread and no fire in the entire package". Dry integrated molding of high-temperature resistant solid electrolytes greatly improves the safety of battery cells, preventing electrolyte leakage from traditional batteries and making them less prone to combustion and explosion, with ultra-high levels of safety. Combined with the unique "five fold safety protection technology" of Zhiji Automobile, adopting five fold safety measures such as "pre", "guide", "structure", "isolation", and "drainage", the battery is insulated and fireproof, making it the "ceiling" of battery safety in the industry.
